If you live in Ohio, and get to listen to this station on the radio whenever you want.. I am jealous. This is hands down the best FM radio station I've ever heard. (For rock music, that is.)
You can listen on line as well, but it's not the best quality.

Aed..yer right

Ohio sux but atleast our stations arent too shitty, I still go for satelite Radio cus OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of it sounds like a broken record every day.
Webn(102.7) is good, they just talk OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS, but its usually something rude, vulgar or perverted..so it isnt all that bad. I heard them play Dolphins Cry [Live] today..(havent listened to it in a while) kinda shocking that they havent gone super hard core yet

Here in Cleveland, you got 1 station of each type...oldies, alternative/new rock, classic rock, etc. Then you have about 13 fuckin ghetto rap stations... wtfux!~
I can't get WOXY up here
EDIT: No offense to rap listeners btw

Normally I listen to CDs at home, or to the music stations on my digital cable box... I'm thinking of getting an XM radio thing for home, too. But at work, I don't have mp3's and I don't feel like draggin my cd holder up here (384 holder... book is heavy) so I listen to online broadcasts. WOXY is like the only FM broadcast that I like though.
I found out why, too. It's an independent station.. not owned by one of the corporate conglomerates like Clear Channel Communications and such. Rock on.

They play some good stuff.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but dont you have to pay a subsciption fee for the XM Satelite radio? If so, that makes it less attractive to me. Why pay X amount of dollars for Radio, when you could just pop in a CD etc and listen to what you want?
Also, the XM system isnt portable is it? I see Xou referring to taking it to work, thought that XM was car based. I havent done OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of research on it, so I may be a bit off base with my statements.

XM has a home receiver. Not sure on its portability. And yes, it does have something in the neighborhood of $10 a month subscription fee. But the variety is unparalled.

You also get a lot of non-music stations on XM radio. I know the Drew Garabo show (local show in Orlando) is broadcast on XM ... if there's any more shows like that on XM, I'd love to hear them.
Talk Shows?

Xou, your referring to talk shows like, for example, Howard Stern?(Yes I know he's with CBS's Radio affiliate, just using him as an example)

My old boss got XM for his car. At the time he had a 45 minute drive to work but now he only has a few minute drive so I laugh.

Yeah, like that. Stern is a bad example, though. =) Drew > Howard.
