Scandals in college sports

Well there has been a bunch of college sports scandals lately, with Colorado being the latest (and one of the worse). Should the NCAA be harder on the universities? Personally, I think so. While I love college sports, I find a lot of the crap that is going on pathetic to say the least.
And for goodness sake, fire the Colorado football coach. He should never coach another team again!

I think that they should be A LOT harder on not only the universities, but also the idiotic boosters and agents that are the source of a lot of NCAA violations.
The real issue is that the NCAA and the school make hundreds of millions of college football and b-ball, but the only thing the athletes see is the scholarship they receive. I think that increasing the amounts of the scholarships would help to remove a lot of the temptation these kids face. It's a lot easier to ignore the sleazy agent with the wad of large bills when you're not scraping by waiting for this semester's check.
To really address this issue, the NCAA has to hit it from both sides, and not just dump this on the schools.

If you think this is a "colorado" issue, I have a bridge to sell you. This happens at every major U, well I will say penn State prolly not, but that's why Paterno loses so much now

Not saying it happens at Colorado only, by far. I just used that as an example since it is the latest one. My comments about the coach was based as much on his comments to media as anything else.
