As of yesterday evening I'm officially engaged to be married to a simply marvellous woman
If I could get a VV representative from each continent to have a drink on our behalf that'd be great
And if I can do it there's hope for EVERYONE

There are women that are too smart though...

marriage is great. as long as you can deal with increased noise (wife talking) you'll be fine.
life is good!

Took a shot of Grand Marnier <sp> for you.
My advice for you. Take up hobbes right now that you think you will enjoy in the future .. Duck Hunting, POker, Yearly trips with the guys to Vegas, etc. This way yo ucan tell your wife you are doing this 'event' and have been sinc before you were married.
Sure, she will still say no, but its worth a shot.

OK I've been working on my list of traditions:
1) Quarterly poker games at my place. Been going on for years. Honest!
2) Annual trip to the Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. I couldn't possibly shirk my responsibilities as a judge.
3) Bi-Annual trip to the World Series of Poker in Vegas. My costs and $10,000 entry into the main event are traditionally funded from the savings account. /cough
4) Annual trip to the World Lapdancing Championship. As soon as they start one. . .
5) Every Friday night I'm compelled to go drinking with the guys from work or else I'll get the sack. Oh and no women are allowed. Terrible burden but what am I to do?
More as I make them up^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hremember them.

I'd recommend the poker game be more like monthly...that way you can "give it up" as a "sacrifice" for couple quality time...Thus making up for at least one indicretion each month...sort of like having a papal bull useable monthly as desired/necessary...
Congrats man will have a Guinness this evening for ya..

Grats to you and the fiance

We got married in October and it was a HUGE party. Way too much alcohol drank, tons of food and good music - it was perfect

I hope yours is everything you want it to be!
