haha That guy is awesome. Bakara's favorite for sure, he was so happy when American Idol did a repeat of his performance.

asian people all seem cursed with the misguided notion that they can all sing, and the worse singers they are the more serious about it they get. here in vancouver there are a ton of karaoke bars and tea rooms. sometimes we go to them and 99% of the asians that go up to sing are william hung level of atrocious, but they are all so serious about it. most are businessman looking types of all ages. when they are done all the other asians in the room applaud like tony bennet was just up there crooning out one of his hits.
who knows, maybe they just lack the ego westerners have. I have a decent singing voice but you wouldn't catch me dead singing with a karaoke machine without at least the better part of a twelve pack in me.
