me personally, i don't care what they do, and i hope they have fun doing it. its a game. in fact i get on the few people in our guild who go over the top having pissing matches with PD, because it makes them -and by extension me - look like gimps.

I would simply admonish them that because Plane of Time is on the horizon for them and there is a hard raid cap at 72 (56 for phase 2) that they have chosen a course of action to get to Plane of Time that has not prepared them for success within Plane of Time.

honestly.. people take this game too seriously. me included back when I was playing.

if they want to bring a lot of people to a raid then fucking let them... unless they are getting in your face with it then who really cares what they do. there's so much content in this game now do you ever even see other raids going on very often?

I'm rather embarrased about my old attitude regarding this game. maybe playing on such a gimpy server is turning me into a wuss.

I don't like raiding at all and when I did I very much preferred trying to figure out how to kill shit using as few people as possible (I actually enjoy getting a new item once in awhile instead of being in line with 40 other people that play my class), but to each their own.

Agreed, I just see it as an extension of the old NBG system that a lot of guilds used to allow their mates to loot whore, only in this case it will be "thanks for the help, we don't need you in time"

The funny side would be the "excess" time flagged people could well fill needed slots in some of the farm status guilds rosters and get showered w/ phase 1-3 loots months ahead of their counterparts.

This is only people's opinions that we are basically incompetant unless 90+ are in attendance on a raid. I have no doubts that we can kill mobs with normal levels but as Sarge said, its hard to tell people that the raid is full and not to come. Never did I ever think that we would have more than 60 on a raid, considering we barely had 20 people who would log on each night right after we killed Sol Ro and started farming the Elementals.

If the reason for forming your alliance was lack of numbers then why not break that alliance now? Break off into two seperate groups. Take 90 or so to Xegony (still a large number, did it last night with 55ish~), and the other 44 can go down a PoFire mob like AMY or Pyro. Twice the loot coming in, gear your people faster, that way when it comes to forming your PoTime raid you have more people evenly equipt to choose from instead of picking the 30 decked out in full ele and the rest in ornate/LDoN.

But yeah, was debating making a photoshop'd pic of their Rathe attempt. Grats beating me to it, im damn lazy anyway.

Why is it any of your concern on how the Alliance of Farstorm and Pravus will handle it? Don't worry about us, we will be fine.

Because if you're kidding yourself that you can split into two raids for time and get two slots in the rotation, you should give that up now.

Our first win vs the Rathe was 90ish peole.... Fiends had about 80 (i think).
Seeing as the Rathe is a progression point, you're naturally going to see people come out of the woodwork to attend and the numbers are going to be inflated.

Assuming that PD/FS has to zerg everything based on the attendance of one raid is just silly. We've done POF named with 35ish, Air rings with 45ish and POE rings with as little as 35.

Feel free to keep amusing yourself with your 'zerg' taunts but we know otherwise.

I'm not the first person to suggest that this might be a solution to their roster problem once they're time flagged. Get some fucking sense of proportion, I was purely curious as to how you keep 120 people happy in a zone built for 72.
