Im just curious to know, who else is going to be going to world of warcraft, staying with EQ, or going to EQ2 (gay).

Playind DAoC for now, WoW is an option but I'm not burning for it whatsoever.. new EQ2 screenshots are friggin amazing though. Also very curious about Dark and Light, that has potential.

Definitely need another option for "None". Had to choose EQ since that's what I'm staying with.. being retired from MMORPGs.

I quit EQ over a year ago, and I've been waiting for WoW ever since.

Unless WoW is a AC2 sized pile of crap, I'm there.

I almost hope that WoW is dog shit just watch everyone come crawling back to EQ on their stomachs. Hopefully Blizzard learned a little bit about balancing over their last 5 or so clusterfucks.

Yeah.. Starcraft was broken in the extreme as far as balance goes.. at least for certain units (mutalisks were way overpowered and ultralisks sucked much cock, for example) They fixed some of that balance in Broodwar, but then added healers that made a 3/1 minigunner/healer ratio nearly invincible to defensive tactics.

The WoW team are different people though, and include EQ "identities" so might have some semblance of balance out of the box, and at least an MMORPG is tweakable above and beyond what they wanted to push out to Starcraft from bnet..

I had at first thought about WoW, but now I'm thinking about waiting to check out L2.

I'm going to purcahse both WoW and EQ2. I'll decide after that which one I stick with.

Not gonna even allow WoW in this household. My husband and I will most likely check out EQ2, but we most definitely won't be investing near the amount of time that we did in EQ.

I'm sure they will be as secure as anything else out there. No server is completely secure, and nothing that's going to have the amount of hackers thrown at it that WoW will (if it's successful) stands a chance long term. It's like a sea wall, best you can do is patch the cracks.. if you can see them

I'm going into the WoW beta with an open mind. I think it's going to suck ass, be full of dewd speak and be an unbalanced heap of crap. I want to give this shitty game a fair shot.

I don't understand how anyone can answer this question without having any experience playing WoW of EQ2.

I won't get into any anologies... The only ones I could come up with were rather dirty and unrelated... need to goto bed now.
