i would say dont spend too much pp on the SEoC.

swiftwind is the real quality one of the 2 anyways, especially nowadays. i'd spend the time you would spend camping that thing (lots) on levelling and getting flagged. You'll end up with a better mainhand weapon along the way (stuff rots that blows away earthcaller for DPS), and upgrade other slots too.

Aye, I totally agree, although with Earthcaller, it does make soloing much more easier in the low tiers. And towards shyt rotting, the AD quarterstaff and longsword have somewhat reasonable dps, along with the MB and Grummus 1hb's. Which don't rott all that often, as pickups raids happen usually whenever stuff is up : /
