Saw it last night going on. I think the like charmed a war wraith and some how got the whole pit to fight eachother and would get xp for all the kills. Was crazy...

I showed Xenaida and Rytan how to do this on the beta server a week or so ago, so it should be fixed soon, hopefully.

Warriors being able to rampage at will probably ranks higher.

You can duo VZ/TZ with this bug, solo Glykus and Overseer, solo Vindicator, any UP nameds, any BoT wing nameds, etc.. And on top of that, it's an aa every 3-4 minutes solo in Tactics. It's pretty bad :\

No, this is more like a batch of cheating fucks (6 fiends and maybe a few others in this particular case) using this exploit to slaughter the entire tactics pit for 4 or 5 hours last night...

After all we only have one troll that's tactics flagged on this server!

I highly doubt that a mere 10-20 people on the server are the only ones using a exploit. The thread was directed specifically at a certain guild, hence the defense by said guild. The same guy that used 121 people to down Xegony? Saying im doing something offensive?

I can't speak for Effie, but obviously Fiends isn't responsible for the existance of the exploit... Only an idiot would make that inference. It is without question, however, that a small group of people who also happen to be members of Fiends are abusing this exploit for all it's worth. Exploiting is bannable, and word on the street is that there have been a number of bannings across all servers over this particular exploit. Since you guys seem to be the ones using it the most, Effie's question seems to be legitimate? Will Fiends be recruiting to backfill your ass if/when you get banned?

Actually, no their not photoshop'd. That was a mistake. Upon further inspection I noticed that this was from our 1grp'd RZtW. We were obviously using the infamous "instant cast 0mana CH" (hence cherch) and the bug they had on the shaman DoT spell from LDoN, curse based. The dmg was being increased at an exponential rate, and we ended up doing 30k/tick before he finally dropped. The picture you including of Drinsic was him using his bow equipt with this augment we summoned thru ub9r hack, it proc'd AE Anger3 on the target. So, obviously, he kited the all the adds that summon during the fight around with a speedhack he picked up in Japan while learning JPN's sploit strats.

Unfortunely, only a mask and boots dropped from RZtW.. we were all sad and killed the adds~

When I opened it up to crop it down to a reasonable size, low and behold there you were in it. Since you were seemingly trying to imply that you weren't involved I figured I should point out your presence.

I don't know you and I don't really care to. I'm not trying to get anyone busted for cheating, although those of you involved certainly deserve anything that you get as a result of your behavior. Trying to argue that this isn't an exploit is flat out retarded. If you get caught using an exploit, at least be man enough to own up to it instead of acting innocent. I showed this to Xenaida and Rytan (developers :(:() on the GoD beta server, and both were shocked. It took Rytan a few to figure out how to turn the Arena into instant respawns, even after instructions, but once he did I got them both a few AAs in 10 minutes. It's not a creative use of charm, faction, or 55+ mob death coding. It's exploiting, plain and simple.

That said, I could really care less if you exploit. Just don't act like you were innocent when you get caught.

Well I just "took it up" with "the guide", since you've brought it up; at the current time he did not consider it an exploit, although not condoning it, his views do not represent SOEs. Thing is, what we're doing involves no bugs, no wall sploits, no pathing sploits, nothing against the rules. Just a bit of skill, two spells, and proper timing.

So have fun with those petitions =)

Well, you are right in a few places..

- It's not a pathing exploit.

- It's not a wall exploit.

- It requires two spells and proper timing.

Everything else is bullshit and you know it. Two factions of npcs are not meant to attack each other and yield experience for others. That, my friend is a bug. You are not meant to be able to pit a faction of mobs versus a boss mob (Glykus, Overseer, Vallon, and Tallon can all be taken down by an enchanter and a bard using this bug, I've watched it happen, and I've seen people banned for it.) These are *BUGS*. When you use game bugs to your advantage, that is an exploit. Following me so far?

By your logic, pathing exploits aren't really exploits because, well, the mobs are coded to get stuck running into a wall while you nuke them down. Quit the bullshit and admit you got caught. It's related to a specific spell and some factions that apparently haven't been nerfed enough yet. So basically you could say it's no more exploiting than AEing acrylia/deep pre-nerf, or soloing hall lords in BoT before charm nerf. Or taking down Xegony with over 100 people
