I'm not from this server.

My wife and I are having a tough time selecting a Guild on our server that we could contribute to in a meaningful way, but also fits with our life-schedule. So, we're considering a server move.

We have a family and are limited to play between about 7 and 10 pm Central time -- though we do play about 6 times a week at these times and occassionally more on weekends.

We've spend the vast majority of our EQ time doing minor-raiding, leveling, and grouping with friends. We've spent the majority of our 3 years of play time with 2 family oriented guilds.

The thing is... we're about done with the regular leveling curve (both of us are lvl 65 and have over 150 aa) and are very interested in raiding the majority of our EQ time.

The problem is... on our server... and many others... raids start earlier and end later that we can easily commit to.

My question is... are there guilds on Veeshen that are successfully progressing through the game at these hours and have room for 2 more:)

I play a beastlord and my wife plays a necromancer.

veeshan is a highly populated server and when a raid mob pops it is usually being raided within an hour. there is a lot of competition in the ele planes so i suggest moving to a less populated server

hahaha runcade is gonna chase em all off! Shame you did not even pretend to answer his questions other then a "pick another server". The guy was asking about if there are guilds here who raid between those times. He did not ask if he could take the phat lewt mobs from other guilds.

my point was if they are interested in end gameish content then this probably isnt the server for them becasue mobs are dead so quick that its impossible to schedule raids for certain times.

There are quite a few guilds here who raid in that time...

While the competition is very high, there are many who are active on "late" eastern time on Veeshan....

I know most of the time my guild at least gets started around 6 your time, but many times, we are just getting rolling by 7, and end around 10 your time...

And we have pretty high competition on the mobs, and many guilds are active at the same time

Now that i have set a record for the most "times" using the word "time" in one post.....

Basically i'm saying yes... there would be a home for you here somewhere, but I'd be surprised if you didn't find one most of the other "us based" servers as well.

We are have the far east to work against, clearing out crap during the time the rest of veesh is at work.

If you raid 3 hours every night, you'll have a good time here, you'll miss a lot but you'll have a good time. With the new expenasion, I'm sure there will be even more wothwhile stuff to do, but you'll have to refer to someone who is in beta for clarification.

I don't know about raiding, but I'd like for you and your lovely bride to hug me really hard at the same time. I want to feel like a smore at Cub Scout camp.

This reminds me of the time Xorg and I were sitting at the Fan Faire computers for our hour of EQ, and a mother comes up to him asking what would be the proper guild for her 12 year old son. Vannoth told her to look for someone from Veeshan for some good advice.

Wouldn't that be considered contributing to the delinquency of a minor on the part of Vannoth?
