a link to a video of the guitar duel between Steve Vai and Ralph Macchio from the movie Crossroads. No points for just the audio, I have that.

You can MS messenger me the clip if you find it on kazaa or something.

That's it, you get the money shot. 200,000 more if you can get me the entire duel and not just the end of it, or 200,000 to anyone who gets the entire duel.

Cooder pwns.

"Last Man Standing" would only be 25% as good without his soundtrack

Ry Cooder played all of Eugene's guitar peices save for the last peice in the duel ("Eugene's bag of tricks"). Vai recorded that one (he did record it on a telecaster though). I've got the movie at home, I'll see if I can dig it out and extract the duel after work.

i was thinkin the first part sounded just like Ry Cooder.

If you like Ry Cooder check out this otherwise lame Mick Jaggar CD. Its the soundtrack to a 70s movie called "Performance". Cooder has a couple of great songs on there.

because the end was obviously Vai, i assumed that perhaps the whole thing was.

Got it on VHS, too bad the player died 4-5 years ago

Doesn't look like it's been released on DVD.

Do you have Robert Johnson's box set by any chance Krim? I still only use cassette's but I still have the two best of volumes whenever I'm in the mood to try and figure out how one man could be able to do so much with one guitar, sitting on a chair, tapping his foot

Crossroads is out on DVD, although the guritar playing is not featured as much in this remake. Oh, and no Karate Kid in this one. Oh, and it stars an overhyped slag.

2% daily compounding results in a doubling of the bank vvs once approximatly every 35 days (google: Rule of 70). To keep everything approximate, if I had 150vvs in my account right now (which I do being a n00b) and assuming no posts for the entire year:

150 - Day 0
300 - Day 35
600 - Day 70
1200 - Day 105
2400 - Day 140
4800 - Day 175
9600 - Day 210
19200 - Day 245
38400 - Day 280
76800 - Day 315
153600 - Day 350

That's right, 150 vvs in approx one year becomes 153,600. And notice how big the doubling factors become, the next 35 days in this scenario, the bank jumps another 150000 vvs.

Wow that Business education is finally becoming useful for something :0

Never did, but have watched the duel about 50 times so far. I could send it to someone if they want to post it somewhere.
