Regardless of who wins this game, this is the best game of the year.

Absolutely awesome. Noone really cared who won at the bar yet the entire joint was on their feet.
And it's happening again w/ the Pats and Titans. The NFL kicks ass, I'm off

I would almost drive to North Carolina to see that if the Packers win on Sunday. But I'll be in New York so I'll have to watch it on tv!

I guaranfuckingtee that the Eagles will win tomorrow.
I am willing to put up 25k VV's on an Eagles victory, which is sadly pretty much all my VV's. If anyone wants to step up to the plate, post it before 4 PM tomorrow and we've got a bet.

I'll be your huckleberry.
edit: man what a crappy way to end a game like that... I dislike sudden death OT... NFL should adopt a college style OT system for the playoffs.

Probably heading down to Philly next weekend, buddy of mine is a huge Eagles fan. He has been razzing his Giant fan students(middle school spanish teacher) and myself pretty good this year. I'll go just to get a glimpse at the best post season in memory live as well as their new stadium. Probably the last time I was at stadium row was for Live Aid. Ohh my goodness

Damn, that was closer than I thought.
As a side note, I really hate Troy Aikman.

I listen to Westwood One's broadcasts while watching the NFL. If you're in Philly's reach, listening to Merrill Reese cover the Eagles is a real treat. Mike Quick is an excellent color man alongside him. Can't imagine how annoying Aikman must be.

Well, there was an incident a few weeks back where he was bashing philly fans, and if you listened closely, you could make out an "Aikman Sucks" chant in the background.
He just has an anti-philly bias, which doesn't really bother me, since he's a cowboy. I'd hope he has an anti-philly bias. At one point, late in the third quarter, he made a few comments about how McNabb was having a bad game. McNabb threw two touches, no picks, good yardage, and set an nfl playoff record for quarterback rushing. Just ridiculous.
Bias aside, he's probably the best announcer on that crew. Cris Collinsworth is terrible.

eh when Aikman made that comment he was right, McNabb DID have a bad game up until that point. I think he does a pretty good job actually as an announcer.

When Aikman made that comment, McNabb had completed more than half his passes, was on pace for 250 yards or so, and had thrown two touches and no picks. He hadn't pulled out the incredible plays he made in the fourth quarter yet, but he was still leaps and bounds away from having a bad game.
He is a good announcer, he just doesn't like Philadelphia.
