Radiohead - Hail - though not as good as OK computer. I would actually put it after OK, Bends, Kid A, but still the best this year.

The Woxy list sucks.

Evanescence as the 6th best album of the year? That no-talent piece of shit album....argh...

"Think Tank" placed at 26 but "Electric Version" at 8? I LOL at them.

I think part of that is user input, or based on user requests or something. Evanescense album really wasn't that bad, it just was unfortunately commercialized after the Daredevil movie.

No way, it'll be at least 2005 before we see any of that. I will praise the lord jebus if that's true though.

well, just talked to a friends who is a total tool fanatic and he said there is "rumor" of next summer as the release date, but the band has confirmed that they are working on the new album and that the non-MJK members will be writing some of the songs for this one too...

APC is going on another US tour with larger venues this spring/early summer...that's the word. The instruments of tool are supposedly writing now or soon from now. So probably the best bet for a new tool album is next winter sometime.

Hmm... 2003 wasn't exactly a banner year, but let's see.

That Postal Service album *was* good...

The new Enon album and the new Milemarker...

Bloodthirsty Lovers...

Did the latest Ladytron come out in 2002 or 2003?

I know I'm forgetting some, but damn...most of my CD buys this year were back-catalog stuff...

Edit>> A quick browse at Pitchfork does indeed remind me that I forgot not only Broadcast, but also Deerhoof
