Looking to sell a Gem Encrusted Ring, I figured this was appropriate considering that they do not drop any longer and are quite rare. Send a PM or shoot me a tell in game, thanks =)

ac10 str+7 ring is not as impressive as it was at the beginning of Kunark.

However, an All/All (hopefully changed to Burning Affliction and not Affliction Haste or some other more worthless focus affect) ring with no level requirement would be a Necro/Shaman/Druid's wet dream these days.

its mana pres, theres a better ring that drops frequently from veskar with same foci




if it was buring afliction it would still be useless, only takes a hour to get a Coldain Military Wrist Guard

the fact that it no longer drops would make it worth more than the effect. imo.

You're right about the CMG. I had almost forgotten about that quest.

I could swear that I recall Affliction Effeciency being changed to Burning Affliction a while back.. Maybe 6 or 8 months ago. It was a huge deal and Necros/Druids were throwing a fit about it being nerfed because of their specializations in conjuration (Druids) and alteration (necros) and soloing abilities.

May just be on a couple of items... But I thought it was most Affliction Effeciency items that were changed.

I checked Lucy for CMG, and it's definately been changed to Burning Affliction 3.

Extended affliction (longer dots) was changed to burning affliction (more damage per tick) because a lot of times the DoTs wouldnt go full time so whats the point of making them longer.

funny how much that ring sucks now, and it was such a big deal a few years ago )

I disagree. I think it's depends on the item. Most of the things that no longer drop don't have a replacment. That's what makes them valuable.
