I work with about 25 people and 20 of them are just idiots. I thought work politics would only be found in the larger work places but this place is just riddled with it. Being IT I get to sit back and watch the show normally but lately there have been some computer problems. The kicker is that the problems lie outside our systems and deal with the ISP but people don't seem to understand much less care. Better to just bitch and blame the IT department. :x

OMG. Someone just emailed the ENTIRE IS dept with a scanner problem.

I can't get mine to page me when somethig breaks. Nothing like coming in on Monday morning to a Captain standing in my office wanting to know why his people had to do without a printer all weekend.


I ask, I'm told they reported it to the shift commander. My answer "Great! When your car breaks down, do you call your priest?"
