No holds barred discussion. Someone train you and steal your rare spawn? Let everyone know all about it! (Not for the faint of heart!)

Post by Kriista »

ive always beeb a big fan of web-based art(thats a diff story really), but can anyone reccomend any decent HTML books,

im going design my bands webpage, and ive lost my bookmarks many times to all the pages i thought looked cool

i konw OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of you are web gurus so i was hoping you could point me to some interesting links design wise

preferably non flashed based things, since im not gonna become a flash master any time soon, and i tend to prefer simple ass pages

'Deitel and Associates' and O'Reily books have always delivered for me. When I need a tech book I always go with one of them, if possible. However, HTML is no secret.. if I were you I would save a buck and go with an online guide.. this one is particularly good:
