Last I checked bathroom doors were pretty easy to break down... this guy was a pansy through and through.

It did not mention what bathroom he was locked in, he could have been in the basement where there are no windows. It could have had no windows if it was in the middle of the house. And it is quite possible that the door to the bathroom was quite solid seeing that he has money and would not put in a crap door.
