What program does everyone suggest for ripping songs from a CD to make mp3's? Quality is what I'm most interested in, free or not doesn't really matter, tho of course free is always more convenient.

For quality and versatility, it's hard to beat Protools and the mp3 making plugins you can get, but that would be going WAY beyond what was necessary. I hear good things about MusicMatch Jukebox, might want to try that.

For a weird suggestion, try iTunes. It lets you make MP3s from CD. I used it as a test and it seemed to provide good quality (320). Bit of a big download though as it's more than just a ripper.
WinAmp 5 can as well but I haven't personally tried that.

Exact Audio Copy and the LAME encoder.
AudioGrabber is nice, but EAC is free and just as good. I personally prefer EAC myself regardless of 'cost'.

Oh, to followup, to do rips from WinAmp you need to register(pay) and get WinAmp Pro.
