How do you get through the room with the spinning gun and the other little triangle that does the exact opposite of you?

Hafta kill the other one with bombs, while not allowing it to get hit by the cannon. Took around 6 bombs I guess. I can't find the white key, now I'm stuck and can't do anything else.
