I don't have enough faith in OU's offense to expect them to win by that much. However, their defense is so fucking good, it wouldn't suprise me one bit if the score ends up OU 8 UT 3, with all of OU's points coming from safeties

What fans did remain at least had a sense of humor. UT students seated about 10 yards behind the Sooners bench caught the attention of true freshman John Williams, a reserve defensive end who likely will be redshirted.
"Hey, 98," yelled one student decked out in burnt orange, "you'd start at Texas!"
Pleaded another: "Transfer!"

None of our coaches have a fuckin clue. Did you guys see this qoute from the OU Defensive Coordinator?
Asked if he was surprised how easily the victory came, OU co-defensive coordinator Brent Venables said, "I guess it does because of the athletes on the other side. It's what you instill and demand of your players. You usually get what you demand."
It must be even worse when your players know that the plays called aren't going to work:
"It's on us — offense, defense, special teams," WR Roy Williams said. "No matter whether we like it or not, we've got to go out and execute what's called."
I feel bad for the players, the coaches can suck a dick.

You could see that there was a lot of what was called that wasn't executed though. As much as I don't like some of Mack Brown's philosophy's, I don't ever blame ONLY the coaches unlike most people. I think that from the start Texas went in with the wrong attitude, and it showed throughout the game.

the attitude is the responsibility of the coaches.
not to sidetrack this, but that is the thing i blame Bobby Cox for with the postseason failures of the Braves. He is great, and i really like him, but i think the player's dont have the right mental approach to the playoffs, and that is ultimately the responsibility of the coaching staff.

The only reason Vince Young played was because he was the only offense we were going to have that day. He brings 'sandlot' quality play, one that is tough to defense even if you have all the routes and lanes covered.

Correct Owenn. The best thing about it is that he's getting all of the exposure in his freshman year. Oklahoma took advantage of that too much maybe in this game. It "should" only help him to get better. It's been a while since Texas has had a QB that has actually been able to play from his freshman year on without some "controversy" as the fucking analysts call it. It's not a controversy when you decide to go with who you feel will help the most.
