The remakes are over... for now :)

This is a scene from <a target="_blank" href="http://us.imdb.com/Title?0047478">Akira Kurosawa's "Shichinin no samurai"</a> where the hired Samurai find out that the village they're protecting has been killing Samurai on the run.

A little background into the movie: Bandits are preparing to attack a village. The villagers head to the city and recruit seven samurai to help them. You should be able to figure out the rest for yourself.

Every movie buff should take the time to see this wonderful film. It is truly a work of art.

Yes actually.

I'm on dial up for now. So I don't download the videos. Therefore I don't vote, since I obviously didn't watch the clip. But I do read the thread, because there are discussion about films I am familiar with. And I have seen many of the clips you show at one point or another so I can follow the discussions that pertain to the subject as well.

I can't believe Kurusawa copied the Magnifcient Seven!
