Wareless Card Kaput?
My fiance's wireless card just won't work. I get no link light and it happened right in the middle of surfing the web. She swears that she did nothing and that she was on yahoo, then nothing. Now I cannot get link at all. Do these cards go bad? I am not a believer in massive hardware failures, but I have messed with the router and can get nothing. Any ideas? The router is 10 feet from the card and I have another computer that is working fine on it.

Most likely, it's the radio tranceiver that went bad on the card. Replace it, and welcome to the wonderful world of wireless.
