Entertaining to say the least. I love how they added all the SWG pics in there, since its about the easiest MMOG on the market to exploit and cheat with all the bugs it has.

It might be a game, but everyone here knows how much an account goes for on player auctions.

If you can trade an account or item for hundreds or even thousands of dollars IRL....then it's the same as stealing that amount of cash....it just looks different.

Saying "it's just a game" is not giving the situation the attention it deserves. If they don't get it in check then cyber criminals could potentially make tens of thousands of dollars just hacking peoples on-line game accounts and you wouldn't consider it a real crime?

I mean how many accounts were stolen via e-mail scams of people pretending to be SoE employees? How much cash was that worth?

How about people who buy an account and have the seller steal it back only to turn around and do ti to another guy?

There are people on the internet, playing EQ even....that literally make thier living farming items and selling them on player auctions/ebay.

On-line game assets do have IRL value...and it should be protected.
