First Mike Vick, now Danny Heatley
that was a Ferrari.
Heatley has a broken jaw, Daniel Snyder had a fractured skull and was in critical condition.

Really wonder what will come of this... haven't heard if alcohol was involved but that could add on to charges that could send Heatley to jail for up to 15 years. From TSN (Canada's EPSN affiliate):
http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=55777
Heatley is scheduled to be in traffic court on October 10 to face charges of reckless driving, serious injury by vehicle, driving too fast for conditions, driving on the wrong side of the road and striking a fixed object.
In any event Atlanta's best hockey player is out with a broken jaw and his team mate, Dan Snyder, is still in hospital with a skull fracture...

aren't they a bitch? Lenox road is actually about 10 minutes from where I live, that's wierd that it happened so close to where I live. From now on at night I'll be watching for drunk athletes driving in both lanes.

there was no alchohol involved.
they were at a Thrashers publicity event until 9:15-9:30 pm here in the building, and the players do not drink at those events.
The time it would take them to get to the car, then get to the spot of the wreck is about 25 minutes (i'm assuming some time for valet type situation), and the wreck was at 10pm. though with the way he was driving it probably took him 5 mins to get to Lenox Rd from downtown hehe.
so in otherwords, unless they were pounding from a flask of vodka in the car they werent drunk. they were probably on the way to get drunk though

What a horrible story this is. Hopefully it can serve as a cautionary tale to other young superstars.
