Deschutes Brewery is pretty damn good.

One of my all-time favorite beers is Sierra Nevada Big Foot Barley Wine. :D

Sierra Nevada does make the best pale ales around.

Newkie is pretty good. I'll take a pint of Kilkenny's over that though, and a pint of Guiness over that!

If it's cold, wet and ~5% alcohol I'm happy.

Newcastle Brown is a unique beer but has a tendency to create really mean drunks.

I have no real taste in beer i am afraid, i just drink Carlsberg or Tuborg Pilsener.

I should be ashamed of myself I guess, but i am not!

Depending on whether I want to drink 20 pints, 10 pints or 5 pints, I'd go with:

Guinness, Sam Adams, or Newcastle plz! Killian's if none of the other three are available.

Note that Newcastle is 200x better out of the tap than in bottles! Now, if they switched to brown bottles it might help a bit.

A couple Belgian beers I dig:

Duvel - HOPPPY!
Piraat - Great cold or warm!

Hartford Brewery porter was the greatest beer evar. Fresh brewed on premises, they would sell 2 liter bottles of it charged with CO2 to go from the brewpub.

Sadly, they closed about five years ago.

So I have to go with

Grolsch is a perfect starting beer. A couple of those and it doesnt matter what you drink after them...though I usually just switch to Bud Light.

Depends on what I'm doing so I keep numerious choices usually...

1. Mowing the Lawn - Rolling Rock (it's almost like water anyway :))
2. Football Game - Budwiser (mass consumption)
3. Dinner / Relaxing - Guinness (for taste)
4. Golf - Papts BLUE RIBBON (mass consumption, cheap and humorus "Fuckthatshit, Papts BLUE Ribbon!)

Anchor Steam
Warsteiner
Harp

I love these 3 equally.

Anchor Steam is a great beer. I most likely have to agree with Xou on beer choices. Those are really my top 3 as well. But the one thing better than Sam Adams is the Sam Adams Octoberfest (intentionally misspelled) which only comes out in September/October. Really the only beer I have been drinking in the past 2 weeks.

A good place to find rare imports is a restaurant in most malls called Mr Dunderbak's. On the outside it looks like some medieval basket shop, but behind it all is a deli of sorts with the biggest beer selection around. Food is so-so, but the beer is cold!

sam, guiness, then newcastle probably

i grew up on budweiser

Sam Adams Octoberfest was exceptional when it was released about 12 or so years or so... however, it has indeed lost some quality over the years..mostly due to the higher output of their breweries....

If you have the chance, I do suggest trying some of Stone Brewing's products, that Arrogant Bastard really is the shit! However, it might be hard to find... it is a rather small brewery outside of San Diego, but I hear their distribution is getting much wider!! It is so YUMM!
