IRON MAIDEN

New Iron Maiden came out last week, Dance of Death. Unlike some other Metal Bands Maiden has stayed true to their roots. Since they didn't oust Gears when Smith came back they now have 3 guitarists and the harmonies are great. If you ever liked Maiden this is well worth the cash.

Damn, got the email before it came out and I thought it had only been a week... man my work load is WAY too high.
I was a hugh IM fan back in the 80s from about the Killer album on but once Bruch and Adrian left the sound just wasn't the same. Yes Steve is one of the best Bassist ever and Nicko is an awesome drummer but the magic just didn't seem to be there.
While I still bought the stuff it just wasn't that good, especially Bruce's solo stuff until Accident of Birth. If you don't have or haven't heard that disc and you like Maiden you need to go buy it right now... no I mean it NOW you won't regret it. Adrian played with him on it and it sounds like a mixture of Best, Mind and Powerslave. IMHO once IM heard it and saw the success they were like, damn we have to get these guys back.
Brave New World was good too but I think this one, Dance of Death is even better.

I was pleasantly surprised at the new CD. Iron Maiden, like Queensryche, has just lost my interest over the years.. it's nice to see them back with good music. Now if someone would kick Anthrax in the ass and get back the fun music they had I'd be quite happy.

Loved that I'm the man mini LP. Their version of Sabbath Bloody Sabbath just kicked ass.

I had listened to one of their newer albums...it really sucked. I will check out the new one only because Powerslave rocked!!
