How is LDoN?

You guys have had it like a week right?

Keep in mind some of us guys are retired and like to know what's up...I mean I'm not coming back....but I am interested.

I heard one person's opinion so far off-line. He loves it.

What are your opinions of it? To me it sounded like it could possibly be the best expansion so far. I liked the fact you could do a dungeon crawl and not run into people in the way etc...as oppossed to camping, that alone perked my ears right up.

But seeing it in action and imagining the possibilities are 2 different things.

So how did it turn out?

You remind me of a nerd who asks too many questions about a video game. "Normal" people just do not do this.

What you meant to say is "im joining on the "I hate PILS bandwagon like all the other cool kids."

Looks like just another post about LDON.....ansewer the question instead of trying to be a smart ass....or just an ass.....

It's called 'satire' you git. But I guess this is something that goes well above and beyond your mental capacity.

As for responding to it - there's a few threads in the EQ Related forum already talking about LDoN. But I'm going to take a leap here and guess you're too stupid to realize that.

I'll check it out, but I don't read current events (most of us retired people don't) and last LDoN thread I saw was about what they expected to see, I'm asking how it actually is now since it was released. And I didn't expect them to discuss it afterwards, because well...the people who read that forum should be able to see it for themselves.

As for Kguku...noone thinks your funny, not even Teh fnord. Bashing me isn't going to mean you will sit at the cool kid table during lunch in the cafeteria. It just means that they will have two people to push down at recess instead of one.

I'll make it slightly clearer for you about the nerd thing Kguku... playing EQ or reading/watching LOTR doesn't make you a nerd, neither does asking questions about it, buying the directors cut DVD or anythign like that, but using terms found in them to describe IRL people or events is nerdy. Or if your like 30 and collect all the action figures and display them inyour room behind the furnace in your parents basement and wear a costume to the next LOTR movie on opening night. Because at that point it has begun to take invade the rest of your life. Somehow I doubt you will understand that, but I had to give it a shot.

This is not satire.....

This is satire.....

sat·ire n.
A literary work in which human vice or folly is attacked through irony, derision, or wit

Plus your post lacked all 3 of these.....

oh...and you used the word "git" further sealing the Crown of Stupid for your sweaty brow....

Ok, I read it....there wasn't much info. People basically said they liked instanced zones but thought it was repetitive.

I saw something about mission points, I heard something about +2 fire damage thing if your weapon was 30 delay or more.

Those are things I know nothing about. I remember someone saying something about chests that AE damage when you open them, I wouldn't mind hearing more about them either.

But I'll go in that forum and ask.

Oh and for the record, I don't think that was satire either.

Here's a new flash for you - Insults stemming from modern day film is quite common. If using an insult from a character or line born from a film is considered nerdy, then I'm sure you've crossed that nerd barrier many a times.

Playing EQ is considered nerdy by most "normal" people, as this is what you based your nerdom comments on. Playing video games in general has been deemed as a 'nerd' activity for many a year. But since you are the epitome of normality, we should bow to your definition of nerd.

As for math boy - please calculate Pi to the last digit for us, thanks.

Pils, I answered your question for you in the EQ forum.
