That's right kids! YIPEE! I am one happy druid! I know there are other druids that post here too, so I wanted to let you know
Finally, no more waiting on a freaking cleric for the easier kills like Velk or Vindi! 3k is plenty of healing, especially once AA points are factored into the equation.

I also think they capped it at 3k to take into account AA skills like healing adept and such. Those would indeed crit into true complete heals at times. Just my 2cp in reguards to VI logic.

Just read that. Good skill for Druids, but IMHO that's infringing on Cleric skills. Some will come from that route, as did I at first, but when ya think about it what do druids do on raids? Not much really. This definitely won't be putting them in the CH rotation, but it should give them much more use.
Edit: Actually, the more I think about it, will this skill be of that much use on a raid? I'm thinking this is going to be a better everyday xp grind group spell than anything else. Even with Heal Adept, that doesn't guarantee them true complete heals

i cant stand all this class bitching that goes on nowadays. there are some bad ones on the GLade too, keeps me from visiting too regularly i think. THese noobs acting like our class is in trouble or something, when it is in the best shape it has ever been.

Argualby the most powerful and easy to play class in the game, and yet they still complain...
I'm not sure what this was meant to address myself, druids comprise a huge portion of the server population. You still won't need more than 1 druid in a group, and when ~20% of the server is comprised of druids...
I'd have rather seen a 500-600pt group heal or something along those lines for patching up AE damage.
Wonder if torpor will have it's heal increased...

tanking anything in sebilis is pussah.
Mezzdat tanked juggs last time I farmed spells with the azzhat...err azzbeat group.
tanking in cazic is a whole other story
Honestly, I think druids are a very cool class. I don't think they "need" this but gratz if it goes live. The druid population is so high, it would make a nice increase in the viable exp group healers in grinding zones.

yea, I'm not very regular there anymore either. There is something in the air over that that bothers me. Maybe its that some of the oldtimers reply in all seriousness to really retarded posts. The final straw was a few months ago when someone came by OBVIOUSLY trolling.. and everyone acted like it was an interesting post. I called the troller out and got flamed .. bah.
There is good info there from time to time though.. so i still drop by.

Unless of course they give Clerics the ability to Port, Dot (other than undead) SOW, SOE, Track, Mana efficiently NUKE, Bash, Cast a good Damage sheild, Evac, and Succor.

This change won't be a big deal for clerics, and will make druids/shamans a bit more useful in xp groups and for healing non-tank classes on raids.

Any class that can kill 6, level 50-54 mobs at once and not be oom at the end of the fight has no room to complain IMO. Every named in ME can be killed by a solo druid, or by one or two full regular groups.
Of course, the druids I've seen do it don't think their class is broken either.

Xou it reduces the role of a Cleric to basically that of only needed for Boss Mob encounters. If a Druid is played properly for an EXP group then they are a huge asset without all this fucking bitching and moaning.
In all of the EXP groups I have been in lately the Druid acts almost like he/she is soloing. While the rest of the group is killing MOB_01 the Druid is Snare pulling another MOB, Rooting and Dotting the shit out of it. This makes for much faster EXP.
All I am saying is I am really sick of certain classes always bitching. Bottomline is if you want to be a CLERIC then make a fucking Cleric. If you want to be a Druid then fucking learn to play the class properly without all the bitching.

faille made a decent point on the FoH board about it that tempered my opinion a bit.
basically, it allows you to not be so dependent on clerics.
let's say we wanted to try some mob, but only had 4 total clerics, and that was really cutting it close. We could throw a shaman and a druid into the rotation to help flesh it out, and not having to skip on the raid because of lack of clerics.
it is a double edged sword for clerics, they have a boring EQ existence most of the time (EQ is boring really most of the time for everybody

), but have 2 of the most important spells in the game, CH and revivescense.
I think giving druids a 3k heal is a bit much, but we'll see how it all shakes out on test.
I'm sure the clerics are announcing all sorts of ultimatums on their messageboards.
I think this is something they are actually going to depend on the Test Server a bit for, which of course is unusual, but hey, why not.
it is better for shamans than druids in my opinion, because they dont stack as well on raids as druids.
Worst case this makes dru/shm better at healing melee who are not recipients of the Main/Rampage tank healing.

I understand that and agree. But people bitching about their class will always be prevelant in an online game such as this. Most people would rather be a godly character than actually have to know how to play their class well.

This is good news for smaller guilds who have barely enough clerics to spare for non-rotation healing. They should also give druids some kind of group heal similar to Healing Wave of Prexus. That would help out a lot. I just hope they give clerics the 2K heal too. It just won't do to have a non-cleric get better heal spells.

The only thing I see a problem with is the proposed level when it's compared to the existing Druid heals. 54 seems a bit low. I'd give it a level of at least 56.

I just read the details on Lucy -- a 10 sec cast time kinda sucks. I don't want it anymore.

If they gave clerics a 5 or 6 sec cast time version, then that'd be cool.

So. They f'd over enchanters when they said there would be no form of mana regen on items and they put out all this flowing thought shit. But I'm not complaining because honestly I dont give a shit.
Hammerstalker- You're still forgetting the point that clerics have the best HP spells in game. I still pick a cleric over a druid to be my healer anyday (sorry druids).

Everytime the Druids bitch VI gives them better healing abilities. Take for example the penalty they removed recently. Take for example all of the healing spells and heals overtime they gave the druids. Now add a 75% CH what is next?
Now if you were to take any other class lets say a Paladin and give them hrmm FD and Backstab you don't think Rogues and Monks would be pissed off?

I will be very disappointed if VI doesn't follow up with some changes that give clerics more options.
