Aweful play calling by NC State in OT3, 2 QB sneaks? What were they thinking?

Tressel causes more coronarys than McDonalds. Seriously, we're the fattest state in the Union and he has put us through overtime 3!!! times in the last two years. Thank god Krenzel is a winner.

I am still confused how the defending national champions can start the season #2, win 3 games, 2 against ranked opponents, and drop to number 4.

It's simple, OSU sucks. They are lucky to be where they are and after michigan properly spanks them up and down the field, they will drop in the teens where they belong.

Seriously, do you think Ohio St. can beat any of the teams ranked above them?

hmmmm lets see.
Longest win streak in the country says yes until some team knocks them off.

Gimme a fucking break. They got taken to the wall, AT HOME, by NC State. They don't even deserve to be in the top 10.

Can you tell another undefeated team that has two wins this year against ranked opponents?

Eh, I'm not really impressed by OSU so far. Yeah, they beat a ranked Washington who had yet to play a game. Then they *SQUEAKED* past SDSU and NC State. Sure they are undefeated, but they have yet to prove themselves as the #1 team in the country.

Just like how K State was jumped because they have the biggest creampuff schedule, even though they are undefeated. Don't worry, if OSU wins out there's no way they won't be back in the National Championship, and if they don't win out then #4 is right about where they should be. =P

OSU has the hardest schedule hands down. They play 7 ranked teams when the most anyone else in the top 10 plays is 4. On a side note AP has them at 5.

stop spouting the BS of they play "x" ranked teams.

PRESEASON RANKINGS MEAN JACK SHIT.

Hello Notre Dame.

Hello NC State (thumped by Wake).

AUBURN!

at the end of the year is when you say we beat "x" ranked teams. Cause that is when you really know whether teams were good.

That being said, OSU is the luckiest team in the world.

If the refs didnt gift an interception to OSU, NCState may have won in regulation. Terrible call that led to an OSU touchdown. NCState is a pretty decent team.

But Masteen hit it on the head. OSU got taken to the wall by a "pretty decent" team, a week after they got taken to the wall by SDSU - a nobody school. THey should be thankful they are in the top 10.

Michigin is going to fucking roll over OSU. Roll.

Nope. OSU will win, and they will do it at the last minute - as we have won just about every other game in the last year or so.

It defies reason... really, it does. I agree with Alfan - the Bucks are good at creating stress, and Krenzel is teh win.

I whole heartedly agree with the preseason rankings being bullshit. I was pointing out how hard there schedule is, well should be anyhow, compared to other schools. If any team is to take OSU out soon it will be Iowa. Michigan will most likely win, but as we have seen numerous times, the best team doesn't win in those games. A prime example is in 1998 when OSU was projected champs and their only loss came to Michigan who ended up at like 9-4.

I'm not saying where Ohio State should be ranked. It doesnt really matter all that much. In the last two years now the Buckeyes have won. Plain and simple, where other teams dropped a game, they won. They're just winners, its never blowouts, it may not always look pretty, but they somehow manage to keep the flame alive.

Its hard to tell how much longer they can keep this survival tactic running, but i would guess they will fall soon if they cant produce a running game.

Anyways, their defense is still one of the best in the country--just take a look at the rushing statistics for the last few games. That NC State quarterback had inflated passng stats in my opinion, as well.

Oh well, thats my opinion: Ohio State just wins. Not huge, not pretty, but they pull it off.

Go Bucks.

Clearly his passing stats were inflated by the piss poor secondary of OSU.

To me it is pretty simple: OSU is the champion until they get beat. Plain and simple.

And as long as Miami or a Florida school doesn't win I am happy. Much hate for them. I'd be happy to see Michigan win or OSU repeat.

They have NCAA football in Norway?

The Norwegian Collegiate Athletic Association. Oslo State University is a perennial powerhouse, or so I'm told.

Good, I am Irish and don't bode well with the sun, hence the reason I try to stay up north.

I love sun and warm weather. But I also love seasons, love it when trees start turning etc.

It's kind of funny.. I am Norwegian but tan so easily after a summer in Texas I looked Hispanic with blue eyes and fairly blonde hair haha.

Although I'm a buckeye through and through I doubt we'll go undefeated this year.

However, we squeaked by in most of our games last year, and did something that nobody else could do; beat Miami. Talk all the trash you want, but it doesn't change the 14-0 record.

Snort! Those accidents are caused by southern folk looking for a place to ski. I lived in Athens GA for a year and they got 1/4" of snow and it shut the entire city down cause no one knows how to drive in those conditions.

Back on topic though, GO WISCONSIN!

(disclaimer: I am not really into college football so cheering for the home team is appropriate.)

Unless you witnessed that raping UNLV gave them last week.
