Aston Shell is a shell replacement for Windows... and it's actually pretty cool so far. I've been using the the past couple of days and really like it so far.
http://www.astonshell.com is the website if anyone is interested in checking it out. You can of course download themes or create your own or whatever. Seems to be pretty stable, and I like having all the buttons I need on my desktop instead of having to go to the quick launch bar. (But that is still there too.)
I'll attach a screenshot (1280x1024) for anyone interested to see an example of what you can do. All of the navigation bars are collapseable, so you can get them out of the way when you aren't using 'em.
Edit: Blah screenshot posted into thread when I attached it. Just use this link.

All across the top (system, work, media, etc) are drop down menus. You click on em and then you can set up links within there to launch applications and stuff. Also there is a tool bar on the left side, which remains hidden unless you move the mouse over it. I haven't messed with that yet, though.

Kind of reminds me of Litestep.
Except iirc, Litestep ran list shit over xp. Worked great for 98 tho.

Yeah, it's a lot nicer than LiteStep. More stable, too.

Nice so far. Downloaded it and found a couple of nice themes. I went for guardian_dragon.
I've never been much of one to use shell replacments but this one looked nice enough to try out.

is it easy to uninstall once you put it in or do you have to go back through your registery to do it?

says it has an uninstall application... and there is a shell switcher too that you can run to change back to explorer.

I tried to find Themes for it using the standard Google search...couldn't find any. It's a nice shell replacement....but you have to pay to download themes.

Nah, they have themes on their web site.. I didn't pay for it. =)
I ended up uninstalling it. It's neat and all, just interrupts my workflow too much, which consists of putting large quantities of files on my desktop for easy access.
