Terms and Measurements

Post by Pherr the Dorf »

Ok this will be a progressive thing, I will add to it as I go.

Measurements

T or Tbsp= tablespoon
t or tsp= teaspoon
c=cup
pt=pint (qt and gal are obvious as well)
#=pound
oz=ounce

Techniques

Julienne and onion- cut both ends off the onion, cut in half thru the cut ends and peel, lay each flat on the counter and cut across the grain thin (if you do it with the grain you will get half moons)

More to come
