used too but i have not touched it for 4 or 5 years.

its too expensive and i can live life without having to resort to drugs to make myself feel better

Haven't in a long time, roughly 9 years I think. I would enjoy trying it again if given the chance. Not sure how it would effect my desire for a cigarette though. I've finally stopped doing that for over 3 weeks now and would hate to get caught up in doing it again.

Oh look, the same stupid conversations on the same stupid topics AGAIN!

I know weed has a bad rap on these boards and I know the topic has been quite redundant, but I just found myself a reason to post here.

I just found that marijuana is the best hangover cure on the planet. I had THE worst hangover today, I had gone to a crazy party last night(friday). Anyhow I was just feeling completely ill and cold all day from the hangover.

I talked with my neighbor about it and he offered me some weed because he said it really helps. It made the day bearable and totally comfortbable. I would have spent all day in bed and in the bathroom if it weren't for it. So anyhow, It really was great today, and I dont smoke often, but wow it was so helpful. Im not saying its a great thing to do, but it works quick and lasts a long while and you feel just fine and can carry on with your day. Mainly it keeps your mind off it and also just makes it feel like nothing.

If weed is evil then alcohol is the devil himself lol. I feel just fine the next day after smoking weed and alcohol feels like i was poisoned all the next day. Thank god for weed, I felt like I was dying from that poinson all day. I am not wanting to start anything whatsoever, Im just shining a little light from another angle on the whole issue. I dont think I ever want to e again, was truly a painfully enlightening experience. But again, thank god for this amazing plant.

It is everyone's personal choice their bodies, their brains. Pot is one of the lesser drugs but still does damage to your body (substance abuse counsellor in RL) after seeing what many of my clients go through with various drugs no thanks! Many prescription drugs are just as bad as the illegal ones.

But on a side note pot is great for people who have chronic and terminal diseases. My aunt died of cancer a year ago and she was allowed pot for the pain and used it instead of morphine that helped her be able to focus on getting her affairs in order not suffer as much as she was able to eat and be with family near the end. In cases like that I fully support it. Seeing my aunt not suffer and go in peace from a very painful disease was worth it imo. She died of uterine cancer and by the time they caught it had spread to most of her body.

Eventually, the american government will realize they can make more money putting a tax on pot then they can giving fines for it. Then, it might just become legal. Similar to prohibition.
