that picture reminds me of my wedding day.
we were standing by a lake having our pictures taken and out of this lake a mother duck and her ducklings came strolling out of the lake along side the bridal party.
And the clouds opened up, and the sun shone through. And from the heavens, as if sent from God Himself, with great swiftness a hawk descended, snagged a duckling's neck in his talons, and swiftly sped off, the only trace of his passing were the screams of the women and the horrified quacking of those little ducks.
And my laughter

Thus a wonderful analogy to the effects of marriage on the male is born.
Getting married to her was like being speared in the neck by a hawk!

Here is a good wedding story.
The justice of the peace who was supposed to perform my wedding ceremony forgot all about it, and was instead marrying another couple on the back of a speed boat racing down Lake Logan Martin.
Ok, so that wedding did sound like more fun than mine...
While the 90 or so guests waited, we opened the bar early and my parents called around to find any available person capable of marrying two people legally.
We ended up with a Minister who had been released from the hospital earlier that day from a hernia operation. He had sweat pants on under his robe.
Sometimes the big glaring signs of impending doom should be heeded.
