Lotsa people are recruiting. At this stage of an expansion it always happens. It being summer in the northern hemisphere is a factor too.

Or is there something you know and we don't, Mister Anon Troll?

Well the picture is funny as hell though.

If you had any balls what-so-ever you would have posted this with your real name. WTF are you scared of that you had to go anon to post this?

Your cowardice is repugnant, and it transcends any humor that I would otherwise find in your post. I pity you and your worthless life.

IP doesn't match anyone. Banned the user name, perhaps they will post with real name next time!

we'll need Sparty to do an acurate summary of this pic :D

I can just say it portrays sinking ship and Furor groping a floatation device :poke:

It's a ship sinking with "FOH" on the side. A man, with the name Furor above his head, is floating away on a blow-up sex doll with the phrase "We Are Recruiting".

I think it's supposed to be the Titanic, too.

Thanks, Fair.

Maybe if it was:

A ship sinking with "EverQuest" on the side. A man, with the name Absor above his head, is floating away on a blow-up sex doll with the phrase "EverQuest 2".

it would be more accurate.

But seriously - poster is clueless. We are recruiting simply because of simple attrition. It's been this way with every single expansion to date, but PoP has created a special situation because of the flagging issues that it's not easy to do Ad Hoc recruiting because people cannot just join you where you are. We've had (I won't say enjoyed!) limited success with the ability to raid people in when we were back in the elemental planes but it was buggy as fuck-all and you can't raid people in to Time, which is where we need people. There's nothing in the elemental planes that we haven't been able to kill with 40ish people. You have the right people, optimize the tactics and practice and it becomes second nature.

I think we've avoided recruiting because backflagging is such a pain in the ass, but we've reached a point where it's difficult to progress with the 40-50 we can muster on any given night. No mater how you work the tactics, the numbers don't work.

I've heard tell that other guilds in Plane of Time have a full raid of people inside and people waiting outside to get in. We've managed to kill (ASHEDIT: add "most of") the gods in Phase 4 with much less, but quite frankly it would be nice to have a few extra hands on keyboards and not have to rely on two-boxing folks so much.

The above pict is kinda lame to be posting as anon. As was said above, summer and also the age of EQ requires recruiting. The methods and standards for each guild recruiting new people is none of anyone's business outside the guild.

CoD is a nice "recruiting" spot I hear!

I never got to group with you sylvos, but, what exactly is considered a 'normal' pull in your mind?

Posted: July 14, 2003, 3:30 pm

heh - a normal pull is considered "Fun"

Sylvos' pulls aren't bad until he starts using "-ish"

Sylvos tells the group, "inc 3ish"
Sirensa tells the group, "Be ready for like 6 guys"

I used to love Banorn pulling back in my RoS days.

Banorn tells the group "inc a few...."

Sylvos pulling? *shudder* 3-4 members of the Outriders needed therapy after witnessing and falling victim to a Sylvos pull.

why do people have to be pussies and post anon like that?

this thread would have at least been fun if they person used his/her name.

Probably because said individual fears the potential ass ream he would receive from the remaining FoH.

Probably doesn't realize that this is not the general section of the FoH boards, as I know not one regular poster here is classless enough to to that.

Sweet Jesus Sylvos, you pulling means everyone in the zone could die.
I wonder why Tagad never drove to your house wielding an aluminum bat :?:

Hehe the Infamous Sylvos pull was my hazeing into OOK.

It is especially bad when you see: Sylvos tells the group "Oh Shit!" and promptly dies in your lap :P

I think I almost quit playing an enchanter when I was mezzing in Ssra with Sylvos. Mining ore and getting the taskmasters. Sylvos would say a few incoming and we would have all of the mine and about 4 snakes as an add not to mention him asking the cleric to cast rez on incoming...

I'd never chant under a Sylvos led pull group - gawd man - you were a brave one. I prefer to pull (CLR) in his groups. Him gossa skroo loose! He been hew fo howa! He go home now!
