I apologize in advance for my ignorance:

My guild is tiny, and probably won't be hitting the elemental planes for quite sometime.

I've been talking with a few people as I see them in the Plane of Fire and asking about the mob, Jorguna Track (sp), that drops Savage Platinum Fists. Evidently this is a common drop (BST only) that rots because there aren't any beastlords present. It's my understanding that this mob is a exp group only mob pretty much.

My question is: Do raiding guilds ever take this mob out 'on the way?'

To sound horribly desperate (and like a uber-bottomfeeder), I'm hoping that someone might let me piggyback on their pofire raid to loot it if it's going to continually rot.

p.s. My beastlord is almost 64 and verah sexah.

No, raiding guilds don't kill this mob on the way, because all the preps are distant and almost impossible to pull this mob to any big mob preps. He is easily killed with 3-4 people... (which is not enough to do raid piggying obviously)

Just checked our DKP database, and we've only ever killed him once on a raid, the first time we ever went to PoFire I think. As he's one of the exp nameds that spawns near the front of the zone, it's highly unlikely that anyone other than exp groups will kill him.

The Savage Platinum Fist is a drop off any named mephit, they all share the same loot table. If its not already roaming the first field, it takes about 15 seconds to pull to zone in. I know in my personal grouping there, we've left atleast 2 to rot at zone in.

If you want to get picky, hes 2 manable. 2 enchanters, or 1 enchanter + healer can kill those named in the forest pretty easily. Although, if charm breaks you better hope you're standing next to the tree

Kroliatar in CoE has the warrior pet sword.
