Ok, I have Verizon DSL and when I browse using netscape I have no problems at all, when I use IE the browser seems to Lag out, i'll click on a link and it will just hang there, I have to hit stop and refresh, once it refreshes I can browse for a while with no problems, then it will hang and I have to go through the process again, If I don't do the stop/refresh the browser will "wake up" and get to where I want but this can take up to a minute (timed it so no BS here).... this happens to all sites not just specific ones, even when I read the topics here it does the same crap. Has anyone gone through the same shit or know what is going on?
Thanks

I had a similar hing happen a while back where there would be a pause--sometimes a long one between pages. I ran a spyware remover and that seemed to fix it. Dosn't hurt to try!

GO in internet options on the first panel delete all temporary internet files and also make sure that IE checks for newer versions of pages every visit to the page. That can help. Also try to set the amount of temporary internet file space to something really low..
When this folder get too filled it can take a while for your browser to find pages on your hardrive instead of just downloading the new version from the server!

Be sure to go to advanced settings and delete any objects listed. If one of those is corrupt (typically java) it can cause that very symptom.

Tools - Internet Options, Click the Connection Tab, then on Lan Settings.
Make sure that everything that everything that shouldn't be there isn't.
Stuff like automatically Detect or a proxy server etc...

Run adaware, that worked for me the other day when that happened.
