Is that a new coop thing or was it just for one time?
Anyway grats on AoW.

ps. This is not a flame I am starting have just been away and I am curious about it.

We've teamed up for AoW twice now, and will continue to do so as long as we feel like it is beneficial to all parties involved.

What I find funny is how FoH enlists the help of other guilds on mobs and takes all the credit for first kills. Once they can kill said mob than the other guild has outlived their usefulness and is 'asked to not show up' as you purport. Why so much anger, Karae? Momma didn't love you?

Maybe I just have selective memory... But I don't think at the time we were "able to kill said mob" we asked Legion to not show up, it was more of a demanding group aego scrolls kinda deal that ended up in ixtlan being unwelcome.

for the record: we were invited on a couple raids with fires about 8? months ago and had some fun while helping get some things done. We got some loot awards out of it and frankly were surprised to get them, but grateful nonetheless.

Furor got wind that we had a mage crown for sale, and inquired about it. The offer for 4 gaego scrolls was made and he, well, didn't think it was appropriate. There was never any whining about loot or discordant feelings before this, inferring that there was something more than a disagreement over a sale is just making shit up to get attention, Karae.

Though I do think you are right and basically all CT have no idea what Ixtlan did at AoW raids, keep in mind that its been just under half a year since FoH has killed AoW (with anyone, mind you) and at the time they were doing it it was still relatively 'new material'. If you were in a guild (smaller than FoH) and you were co-raiding with them, wouldnt you yourself like to see at least some table scraps from certain mobs every once in awhile? I definately would. But asking for a feast would definately be unnecessary, which is what I think you were referring to (I dont know or anything) but yes I completely agree with you if thats the case. We werent there. We dont know. Thats the point.

Yea? Once they find out they can do mobs on their own they stop asking for help? Once you found out you could take a bath on your own did you stop asking yer momma to help you? Simple ethics my friend. Taking credit on first kills? I doubt they took all the credit. I think the answer to that would be in the eye of the beholder. We all see it as 'FoH killed the first AoW on Veeshan' because it would be far too long to say 'FoH and Valhall and Ixtlan and Legion and GuildA/B/C/D all joined together to kill the first AoW on Veeshan', or at least it would be inaccurate.

Let me start out by being an ass and mentioning you forgot to put an A in actuAlly... If you quit playing Everquest, go on with your life and stop browsing the boards, especially flamevault, the place where you .... flame.... people.... And stuff. Your indescrete comments toward CT arent really that important, especially if you havent played on the server in 2-3 months, because weve had a lot of changes since then. In accordance to many other peoples eyes, I would most definately say that CT has gone from sort of a heel perspective (THE BAD GUY) to a face-ish (THE GOOD GUY) perspective. Weve lost a lot of bad apples, one could say, and alls thats left in the bunch is a quantity of nice people.

Actually i was there Karae Several times and Reks post pretty much sums up what happend.

In my experience Fires has always been quite generous in its sharing of the loot with the helpers. It was a spat over that spare mage crown that got out of hand is all. An Ixtlan officer had a sudden stupid moment in setting an asking price for the crown when Furor inquired about it, especially bearing in mind Fires usually generous nature and that group aegol was in short supply at the time, even for Fires. Furor was annoyed that the officer had forgotten that and cut them off. Was just a momentary stupidity on the part of the officer, and happens to everyone from time to time. Just a pity that nobody apparently took steps to fix the damage.
Oh well, c'est la vie.

I don't know what happened in the past - I wasn't there.

I know what's happening now though - whenever we talk about loot the conversation seems to be made by both sides trying to make it more fair.

Ixtlan seems to have about the same amount of people there as Legion does and of course CT has the majority.

Our first AoW kill - We got much more loot, the next day in PoG there were a few Legion there - We gave them a rogue dagger and the pal/sk sword.

I don't think either guild has many monks - so by default we pretty much get the monk legs, I know I've never seen a Legion monk raiding with us.

On our second AoW kill - Legion had to pass on loot because they didn't have any warriors or any monks (3 helms and 1 pair of monk legs).

It's been fun so far - we aren't attached at the hip. When we need extra numbers or they need extra numbers - We help eachother out.
