Glad you liked it. :)I first met Lynn in 1992 in Isla Vista(offshoot town of Santa Barbara, where UCSB is). He was plaing bass for a garage band named Glue. Damn talented bassist, I tell ya :) He was always such a nice guy to everyone. Hell, SB is a small town by CA terms, so locals know locals. It was a very sad day when his life came to a tragic end.

Enough of the sad shit though. This guy had so much to give, and while he was alive, he did just that. It has been 5 years since he has past on, and folks around the world still check out his music. 'Get Some' is probably the most memorable tune, but there are many more where that came from!

Lemme know if yall want some more, and I will see what I can do. I think it is pretty cool that such a tragic loss can still spring so much feeling and emotion, I am sure, if he saw, he would be pretty fucking stoked. :)

They toured with System of a Down and several other bands way back when they were nobodys. The tribute album has some great tunes on it as well.

Yeah, Lynn died in Dec, 1998. He was pulling out of a parking lot just south of Santa Barbara where there is a crosstraffic area on the 101 freeway. He was hit broadside by a car as he was making the left across the southbound lanes. He was killed instantly.

His dog, Dobbs, was also with him, as usual, and died instantly as well. Dobbs was the boxer that was shown balancing a tennis ball on his nose on the cover of their debut album, Get Some. It is always harder when someone so young is taken away in a tragedy. He had just recently turned 30, his band was signed and kicking ass--being featured that summer in Ozzfest.

On a happier note, last year a live compilation was released, as well as the tribute album of a few years ago. It is pretty amazing what an impact he had on folks..
