My last death that really counts for anything was the first week luclin came out.

My connection sucked and had been getting worse everyday, and Luclin did NOT help that at all. Well a few other OGs and I were fighting in FG, I had just made a pull and gotten back to the camp when I went LD. I wasn't able to reconnect, got pissed, then stopped playing for 3 weeks, while trying to log on unsuccessfully every now and then. I had no reason to suspect that I had died...had only pulled one mob and I made it back to the camp before I went LD.

So I am finally able to log on about 3 weeks later to see that my corpse had poofed. I'm not too upset, because I knew I wasn't the only one having technical difficulties because of this expansion. I petitioned and a guide told me to email customer support, I did and got a response back saying that it would be looked into etc etc. I wait a few days, nothing happens. I petition again and finally get a realisitic response from a guide- only the lead GM could restore corpses and he was on vacation. He said the lead GM should be back within a few days. I petition again then- he says the lead GM had extended his vacation for a little longer.

Finally, about 5 weeks after my corpse had poofed I'm able to talk to the lead GM. He told me "sorry, information about rotting corpses is only kept for a month, then deleted." Now this REALLY pissed me off. I had petitioned with a week to spare, but because his lazy ass was on vacation, then decided to extend his vacation, and there was no contigency plan for if he was on vacation, I wasn't able to get it back. He says sorry again (GMs probably have a hotkey for that) and gives me a full set of armor that's basically no drop bronze armor (issued armor I think it was called).

I die a lot.

let me think...it was probably in BoT. this is such an exciting topic.

Died several times last night working on splitting one of the tower bosses in BoT.

Last night to Magmaton in PoFire in one round. I went linkdead after clicking to go back into PoFire and fell asleep while waiting for 1018 to expire. /sigh

Using charmed frogs to kill summoning MoBs in PoS gets me killed several times per exp session.

I die to much to keep track. I usually take a few out with me.

And no, people who AFK next to a PoK book where they are KoS doesn't count.

i thought we got little gold stars in our public note for dying.

I dunno when it was exactly....But I am sure I took ~40 of my guild mates with me.

Last night I hit Magmaton with malos and he instantly whacked me. I'm wondering if there was a change in how agro works.

Probably just a bad night though : )

Winnow trained me in Hoho a few weeks ago. Haven't died since.

The last time I died ingame I was minding my own business as usual and some asshole trained me.

I think the last time I died was about 2 weeks ago in ToVN.

My 55 cleric hasn't died in the last 20 or so levels that I can recall, maybe twice since she was created.

I can't remember the last time my 55 bst died, sometime in the mid-30s I think.

Nice change from my chanter, of course I don't raid anymore either.

Got slaughtered by A_Raindrop_82 in PoJ. Those things have some nasty aggro. My rogue friend used /evasive and escaped at 25% health though.

I can't remember the last time that I died, but I ALMOST died the other day fighting in Ahkeva.

First off, the NPCs in ME when trained to zone-line will not path back. There were 2 sitting on the left entrance in to Ahkeva, so I went to the right.

I am L56 ENC, my wife is L59 SHM. We were killing the trash by zone when someone trained in some crap, so we zoned to the left.

My wife is on a faster PC, and so zoned first .. there was 8 NPCs sitting there. Beat the shit out of her in about 2 seconds.

I leaned on the "Walk Backwards" button so I would zone back as soon as I could.

I zoned into ME with a full 1600 HP. I zoned into Akheva with 300 left.

Had I zoned first, I would have died.

Farstorm was gathering to kill something in the zone, they rezzed her.

Last night, died to Aten Ha Ra after slowing her...BTW 4 hours of sleep + 2 tests the next day = gay.

I 2-box a 65 enchanter and a 65 wizard, and between the 2 of them someone almost always dies -- every night.

Made the mistake of trying to pull one of the caster rock mobs in PoS, the ones that you literally have to try to walk back to camp while they nook you.

That would be the 12th...died to 4 backpops in Air that were chasing a tank. Low health summon ping-pong is awesome. But the tank lived!

Elder thought horrors. THO went down, clerics gated to sleep, loot was about to be determined... INC 6 ETH. 1 shaman, 1 druid, 1 cleric. I jumped in to help try to take some down, alas, couple of 500s later and I no longer had to worry about those damn THO curses.

last time i died was when i went LD trying to kite some of the PoK guards into a bard doing AoE regen

Let's see, last time I died...

We were camping THO with half our force leaving after a successful Burrower ring attempt. We clear, get to THO and after a 25 minute fight with several tanks dieing and 2 adds, we kill THO. While awarding loots (ok, this is the flaw with DKP atm, too much fucking time to award loots) about 10 minutes later we start getting repops. Uht oh, 40% of our force had gated or TLed out by this time. More pops, more adds, we die. YAY US Gratz on loot rotting (oh well, it was subpar drops anyways, but gratz us on DKP! LOL). It ended up being necrovac =) But that was one hellova fight

I used to die every other pull in VT (pulling 15+ mobs at once, and I always gather agro first), because LoH wasn't up.

Most interesting?
Back when CT was raiding in Veeshan's Peak, we had pulled Silverwing to the dead end and had her down to 30 percent.
She then charms one of our clerics who gives her a CH. At this time, the CH put her at full.
We wiped, but the cleric go lots of crap sent his way.

Most deaths is more interesting. I think I'm up to 16 corpses in various zones at the moment!

Last time I died was against Fennin Ro in the Plane of Fire.

Most interesting death was during a LAN party at my house a while ago. A group of us were fighting in Velks at the 6 pop. We were schooling a spider when it suddenly took off running.

Monk says "oops, hit instill doubt by mistake".
Enchanter says "uh-oh.. keep an eye out, it might come back with friends"

We continue to fight and shortly after we see a massive train running down the slope. Everyone huddles around me while I try desperately to get evac off. I couldn't, too many interuptions. When we return later, our bodies are in a perfect little pile on top of each other. Apparently when you scare a spider in velks, it brings back a lot of the castle with it!
