After about 48 hours in queue (locked up twice in mid-download and had to start over at the top of queue each time), 3 hours of download, and about 3 hours of patching - I finally got in.

I loaded up game, and said "What the fuck do I do now?"

Anyone have any pointers for somoene trying to figure out this thing?

Actually, the very first thing you should do is click the Options button on the Server screen. Set up your keymapping to suit your preferences.

Then shoot bad guys

I click and nothing happens. I fired off a few rounds in the VR room, but didn't know how to reload.

default reload is "R". I changed my reload to the right mouse button

I am assuming that the free file also came with access to the beta site as well. If so, the manual there is/was actually very useful.

well i downloaded it and set it up, then the fucking thing wouldnt let me join because i didnt have 512ram, there goes 4 hours wasted
