You should see the mods over at the City of Heroes boards. If you say anything slightly negative about the game your post gets deleted. If you persist you get banned. And this is even without using any profanity. I was following a thread that had a slightly heated debate about why people are drawn to the boards of a game that gives out no information and won't be released for 6 months to a year. They banned the guy and deleted his post. Basically their message is, "Love our game and only speak happy thoughts about it, or you are banned".

Just the warning of of that kind of stuff - was enough for me to not even go visit.

Makes you wonder about the game and what kind of lousy CS they will have there too.

It got moved because it turned into a flame war, as have a number of recent threads.

And, if you're posting a thread that you suspect will be deleted, that can only be considered trolling, which is a violation of board policy.

You don't like the game, go tell it to Paragon City Hall or CoH Vault. There are a number of fan sites that would adore your attention and I highly recommend you take your whining and complaining there.

Whining for its own sake, and attacking fellow posters is not allowed here. Don't like that either? Then take it to PCH.

Sounds like they're *gasp* controlling their public boards. Remember the old EQ official boards, and the flame-fest they turned into?

The problem I have is that particular thread was no where near what I would call a flame war. There was hardly a word said in anger anywhere in that thing. Granted, I may be a bit numb from being on these boards for so long as to what is considered a flame and what isn't but hell, I have heard Nuns have a more heated argument.

You better watch it though, because those nuns will feign all nice and stuff and as soon as you let your gaurd down, they're like "God fucking hates you, you fucking bastard."
