I feel your pain. It costs a fucking fortune to live in NY without having to share a place with 5 billion roommates. ><

New Harmony, Indiana sounds about right.

If I didn't already have a couple generations worth of roots where I am, that is.

Yes, this is the hardest part

The only thing that really keeps us here is my wifes parents. We are now at the point where this is not that big of a deal. But to just up and move away from everyone you know, is a big decision.

Somtimes you just got to say, "what the fuck".

Never even been in an airplane before lol.

Tequila is teh win.

If you pay 1500+ a month for a place you need to move further away from the city and commute hehe.

Plane Charter- $150.00
Rigging Rental- $50.00
The image of the Chris Tucker-esque scream that comes from poor Brittney's lips when he first either makes the jump or is pushed out-Priceless.

hmm interesting list...

Biloxi-Gulfport, Mississippi
Charleston, South Carolina
Gainesville, Florida
Bryan-College Station, Texas ( telling a person from Austin to move to Bryan? I think not! )
Tallahassee, Florida
Jackson, Mississippi
Athens, Georgia
Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Hell, the only location that wasn't in the south was St. George, Utah, and the description of it said "This town is known as “Utah’s Dixie” because of its history of growing cotton…"

Yet nobody mentions New Jersey.
Chinese food in NJ > Chinese food in CA
Yet you gotta find the right place to live at. Madren once lived in a 1BR apartment that cost more than what I make a month in rent :?

Carlisle, Pennsylvania

Roanoke, Virginia

Altoona, Pennsylvania

Rochester, Minnesota

The only one that sounds remotely interesting is Rochester, MN.

I don't know where you've been looking for places - the boonies maybe. I lived in Miami most of my life and for $500 a month, you can rent yourself a nice tiny studio... in the ghetto. Any 2 bedroom apartment in a semi-decent neighborhood is going to run you at least $900.00 which is about the same as in most places I've been looking at in Orange County.

This website is pretty darn good.
I just wish there was one like that for Europe... Although some of the places it came up with I wouldn't mind moving to ( at least, according to the description it gave of them ), except maybe the one with 37" of snow ;)

Albany, NY, or Toledo, Ohio.
I could stand Albany.

But Toledo?!~

Strange thing.. my fiancee took the test, and it recommended several places here in WV for her. /boggle
