Since I can't get to the OG board I thought I would post here. After almost 4 full years of playing as Nowun (changed to Bramblar by Tinket the Tiny Bitch at lvl 52) I've finally cancelled my accounts.
So, goodbye and thanks for some fun times.
People that stand out in my memory
Banbanen - rl friend I used to work with. He and his brother, Reypaz, helped me a lot in the lower levels.
Voronwe - I remember playing in the teens/20's with him. Always a good guy. He and Azuth are the ones that got me into OG.
Azuth - He and Voronwe and I grouped a lot in the lower levels.
Rythan - originally a bard then he changed to a halfling warrior. He is one of the best guys I ever played with. Both generous and fun to play with. He moved to Torvonilous before hitting lvl 35.
Raptarr - he's moved to another server. Used to be Volnar. Again, one of the best guys I've ever played with.
Arkalon - the former leader of The Protectors (original site http://members.tripod.com/theprotectors/), my second guild (first was Fellowship of Maor - invited by Rudypoo). Anoter great guy.
Shaira - I hate to sound repetive, but again another good person.
Ulverin - the original Ulverin was an excellent player.
Dalur - A nice guy, almost to a fault. He has helped many, many OGs and I have considered him a good friend.
Etain - Easily the hardest working person I ever encountered in EQ. He could always be counted on to "be there" and to do more than his share. Giving time and resources to anyone in the guild who needed it. A very capable leader when Moogy could not be around.
Furyfist - I think this is his name. He was a monk I used to group with a lot way back in the 20's. Always seemed to be able to get us a pull at the SK aviak house even though there were 50-60 other people hunting it.
Fesuni - good player but a bit flakey. I think he needs to get laid.
Moogy - Leader of OG. Some might think that I am blind to his faults, but honestly, he always treated me well (at least to my face
). From what I saw, he is a good guy. The only thing he expects from guildies is the commitment that should come from being part of a guild; put into the guild what you expect to get out of it.
...there are a ton more, but then there always is.
