I know it may seem obvious but from my experience, there are a couple of people on my friends list who seem to censor themselves all of the time.

i curse a lot in guildchat

I swear all the time, but I save the choice obscenities for mangina cyb0r.

I dont swear at all in the fuckin game, except when I cyb0r.

I curse.
I try and abide by the language levels acceptable in whatever chat channel I'm in.. (full out in tells, moderate in guildchat, none in ooc).

I swear as much in game as I do in real life.

Very, very rarely.

I rarely swear in chat, but if something goes wrong and I'm in the middle, I'll let lose and don't care who's reading.

I'm a little more cautious now after what happened to Karae though. Never actually saw someone get suspended for swearing. lame.

A long time ago I was in some random zone and somebody cursed in shout. So I shouted "*Ahem*" and got like 6 different people sending apology tells... All these paranoid people thought I could see their bad language ROFL

And I cuss in /gu or groups and such but not in any public settings. My little brother plays after all and I'd kick his ass if he spoke the way I do *hugs*

That about sums it up... Profanity is situational. I swear a LOT more in real life than I do in game... it depends on how many beers I've had...

I never curse in public channels. I rarely curse in /guildchat. I curse all the time in /tells /group /squad.
