I liked this game the first time when it was called WarCraft 3.

ROFL That homepage is hilarious. Could they be biting Blizzard any harder? EQ is a great game and all, but for fucks sake, that's like a carbon copy of the WC3 homepage.

Amazing.

Sony stole their marketing campaign ideas from Mel Brooks in Spaceballs, too.

That has to be one of the most blatant carbon copies in video game history.

Yeah, it's almost as bad as how much Blizzard is ripping off Verant in Worlds of Warcraft.

I don't lose too much sleep over Blizzard getting copied. Their last original anything was The Lost Vikings.

The only way this could get any gayer is if they use ring event to unlock the lord units.

Well, Blizzard making a MMORPG is quite diferent than Sony making an exact duplicate of a Blizzard game. Blizzards MMORPG is barely even comparable to EQ. The only thing they have in common is the fact that they're both MMORPGs. I'm not saying that Blizzard's shit don't stink or aything like that. They just happen to be the company that is being duplicated right down to the subtle spell effects. I can see almost no difference between the Screenshots of the 2 games. I'm commenting because it's more bizzare than anything.

Just an observation. /shrug

I'm decidedly unexcited about this. It might be good for diverting your attention a bit until the next good game comes out, like WoW. Seems like each "new" Everquest product is causing the game to lose a little more credibility progressively, not counting expansions (except Luclin...). Hopefully EQ2 won't continue that trend... it's looking pretty tight.
