Yeah I got it. It would have been funnier if the writer didn't call the guy a terrorist for burning an american flag though.. Americans seem to throw that word around a lot lately; eventually it's not going to mean anything.

i realize that it is part of the freedom of speech that persons are allowe to burn the flag ( at least in this country ) but i do not agree with it.

Yeah, it would have been funny just showing some jackass setting himself on fire while trying to burn the US flag, but the fucking retard who captioned it sucked all the humour out of it by calling him a terrorist.


Some people need to get it through their thick fucking heads that jsut because someone chooses to demonstrate against this invasion, it doesn;t make them a terrorist.
And the same goes with labelling every anti-american raghead and sand-nigger in the middle east as a terrorist.

I would think its safe to say, that anyone with an IQ over 100 would not consider the above action as terrorism. I think it was more meant to convey a point rather than label a particular person. Im sure 99.9% of the people that post here know this. I would also add that 99.9% of the US posters on here would label you as anti-US, although you claim not to be. Its just a matter of perception and how you spin it.

That picture is older than the current Iraq conflict. I believe it was taken shortly after 9/11. I remember seeing it shortly afterward.

When you start loosely throwing around terms like terrorist when referring to protestors, you desensitize people to how brutal terrorists and their actions really are.

Dubya started this whole thing with his infamous 'If you're not with us, you're against us' statement which groups normal people in with american hating terrorists. The Bush supporters on this forum have even twisted people who are 'anti war' into 'pro saddam'. I'm sorry but it doesn't work that way... issues like this are not black and white.
