Desktopping

EQ has been desktopping on me and I cannot figure out why. Its not my ui, i've tried my custom one and default. It randomly does it within 15-30minutes after logging in. I'm using Windows XP and have the latest Detonator drivers on my Geforce 4 Ti4600. I even went to the extent of formating and reinstalling my OS and installing EQ fresh... but to no avail.. it just did it again after it being fine for 3 days.
Any smart people out there have any ideas?

I have the same problem with my second pc. I only use this pc for the occasional dual-box or to leave my vender gimp on. Desktop comes randomly everytime. Sometimes it's after 5 minutes, other times it will last a few hours. I don't have this problem when I dual-box, just when my gimp is in the bazaar. Very annoying.

I don't have a problem with crashing to desktop but it does on occassion go into windowed mode (I normally play full-screen) and shift focus to another window. That doesn't sound to bad but it usually does it when I'm pulling and I'm unable to FD in a timely manner.
Oh, and I don't have LoY.

Have you ran Ad-aware recently? Could have some spyware thats doing that, but not likely, wont hurt to try though.

Other probs have been noted from the release of LoY.. iI personally had freezing lag in exactly 2 min. intervals with HUGE kernal mem spikes..
512 Mb ram later.. back to normal.

/showspelleffects off command is disabled since loy too
it's not a valid command anymore
come to think of it i desktop only when leaving eq on idle like bazaar gimp or going afk for long periods of time
