How do I fix this?

Someone put ALL of the Internet Explorer languages on my machine. It caused my machine to be unstable and I uninstalled every language except english.

Well now I have this annoying small font show up everywhere.

Check out the screenshot.

I can't enlarge the font from the "view" menu, and when I change the default fonts in the internet explorer options menu I see no change in the text.

I reinstalled the whole package and suffered no change.

Any ideas on how to correct this?

thanks

I would suggest delete (or at least move to another directory) all your fonts except for the standard windows fonts. I can't recall them all at the moment, but if you do a search on Adobe's website for Fonts and Windows and isntalled or something like that, they have a list of the fonts installed by windows and are required for windows. Then basically reinstall fonts as needed if problem reoccurs with one particular font, there's your problem font.

This is a standard troubleshooting that I did when I did Adobe technical support. Good luck. I'm sure you can find similar font install lists off microsoft or your favorite troubleshooting website.

If you are using WinME or XP you can try using System Restore to restore your registry back to a previous date. Otherwise in Win98 you can use scanreg /restore to restore the registry. I would recommend trying Soriathus' suggestions first though.

If you have a mouse with a wheel you can hold down CTRL and scroll up and down to adjust the font size in internet explorer.

It didnt work on this site for me but i loaded some other site, adjusted the size and came back here, all was fine. Hope it help :-)

Thanks guys!

I network-shared the "c:\windows\fonts" directory of a co-worker's computer and copied all of his fonts onto my hard drive.

I next booted into MS-DOS mode and copied those font files into my "c:\windows\fonts" directory.

Upon rebooting, everything was fixed.

Thanks again.
