Looking for some equipment advice....

For a Elf Enchanter.
I have limited (like less than 8k) to spend.
I don't mind doing some quests with a friend or doing a duo thing to get items that are not no drop.
Any suggestions?
Currently wearing a Froggy robe, 1 golden bracer, edifier's leggings, coldain skin gloves (I think these are the ones) and coldain skin boots. I have most of the pieces for the solstice earring.
Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

Just walk around with no armor and die a lot.... people will pity you and give you shit for free.
edit: it also helps if you play your class really poorly and take advice graciously.

There are some easy questable armor for enchanters, some easy to pick up throught various zones as well. Go to
http://www.eqcastersrealm.com and look up high elf enchanter. It will get you a list of what you can wear/quest.

Marker - I remember joo
Incandescent<sp> mask from the temple of SolRo quest, ORS, fetid flesh belt, shadel bandit ring, dizok begirding, spider fur collar, shissar scale cloak would more than eat your 8k (and last you into the 50s).
The collection quests from PoK result in some decent low cost stuff also with mana pres 2 and such on them.

Gator sleeves or the Finespun cloth ones are decent and cheap too.
