anybody got a good suggestion to grab a frame from a *.mov and eventually convert it to a .jpg?

pausing it and snagging a window shot doesnt work.

Voro, if the QT movie isn't copy-protected, QuickTime Pro will allow you to export directly to a BMP from the movie. If it is protected...well, I don't have a clue at that point...

<a target="_blank" href="http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downl ... tml">Click Here</a>

The above link will take you to a download site where you can get TMPGEnc, which can be used to convert different movie files. There is an add-on listed that allows you to convert Quicktime clips.

Once everything is installed, and you figure out a basic idea of what you're doing...

Using "Source Range", select the section that you want to turn into a pic.

When you get to the conversion menu (do NOT automatically start) select "File", "Output to File", and "Sequence BMP, PPM, TGA, JPG"
