Ok, apprently I've been accused more than once since I've chosen an all green look that I'm trying to look like a ranger. My logic was l33zards are green, I want a greed ridable l33zard, my character was inspired by my pet GREEN iguanna, and my favorite color is green so lets make our armour green.

So the point of this thread is what colors do you in your mind associate certain classes with?

Ex.:
Ranger = Pink
Wizard = Bright Blue or Bright Red
Mage = Dark Red
Paladin & Cleric = White or Blue
Rogue = Black
Warrior & Beastlord = Dark Red or Black
SK = Dark Red, Dark Blue, or Black
Shaman = Green
Monk = Brown or Gold
Enchanter = Medium Blue
Necro = Black
Bard = Rainbow

Monk is obviously black because he's really a NINJA!

Don't tell me you actually associate Rangers with the color pink. Please.

Green or brown maybe, but not pink. (except Sylvos)

Actually I was thinking of Aranuil, but now that you mention it Sylvos too.

Also in reguards to my opinion on the whole monk in brown/gold. Think of asian monks who know kung fu in brown and gold robes and/or leather/cloth. If you want the ninja look, yeah black is good too, but honestly I think the asian kung-fu warrior monks more adiquately fits the EQ monk.

clerics=purple


all the old school pre nerf(when they upped the drop rates) hate clerics unite!

nuthin beat the purple trash can head look for us human clerics! ownage in its pure form!

paladins should be blue, SKs should be dark red, druids should be green, shamans are normally some darker tone, bards are fruity, clerics are purple, and rangers should be pink

Cant wait for halloween and christmas times...colorific times i bet!

Bards are pink, not rangers.

Rangers are green, not gay green, pea green or flashback to the 80's neon green like that distracting SHIT some monk had on in PoT yesterday...a nice shade of hunter green or maybe a bit darker, almost black.

The 'best dressed' clerics in my eyes so far would be Sirensa in a lovely Aqua-like color (which will be great for spring) it looks good, its original and it isnt distracting and Rynona the cutest gnome ever -wearing purple bp/legs with pink hat, boots etc.

Warriors - Can sport a few different shades, in some cases they can sport all shades :coughStragicough:( Id say dark colors -although Hobbun pulled off wearing a weird shade of green..or something and it looks fine.

SKs- Deep Burgundy (dark red) / Black looks nice

Pallys- whatever, I saw one in a dark purple..weird color, looked nice.

Druids- nfc

wiz/mag - Theres already robes of all colors, so nothing would suprise me.

Nec- dark colors..evil stuff

Enc- since we can be anything we want, we can go for any color really

shm- whatever, just dont go 'neon'

frogs and kittys- I could care less, I hate them both.

Main thing that will take getting used to would be raiding and trying to pay attention to whatever mob and here comes a BRIGHT Yellow person across your screen ...its distracting ><

Its been fun checking others out, I picked midnight blue and kept it. Nothing flashy and I hope it looks 'ok'

Bards != pink

We have a few oddball color combos running around in KoE right now. Some of em work, some of em don't.

Sarconus has a great shade of green. The flames and accents on the DE armor make it look fantastic with a lighter color.

The skittles ogre makes me wanna puke.

Then we have the blueberry tank. Where he found a smith to resize lambent armor to fit an ogre I dunno, but finding the MT isn't a problem anymore.


And of course, the pally known as the Lesbian Avenger!

I tried that. The name filter rejected CaptFrogmerica in several forms before I had to settle on simply Frogmerica. He is a lovely shade of blue and white with red and blue armor. The white dye does not work very well with their plate though

When associating classes with colors it's really hard not to just revert back to the old hate/fear armor which, at least in my mind, is branded as the first "class" colors. And yes - that leaves monks as "mostly nekkid" - works for me!

Well at work I play with old models on and at home I play with new models. I've seen some ghastly to all hell colors, but break my ability to heal someone over that? Uhhhh....no!

When I think "Bard" I always think of two colors: Faggot Periwinkle Blue and Faggot Sea Foam Green.
